About Us – Why We Created This Racism Self-Reflection Test

Introduction

Welcome to our project.
This website was created with one simple purpose:

To give people a calm, private, judgement-free place to reflect on their attitudes, comfort levels, biases, and assumptions.

We believe that honest self-reflection should be accessible to everyone — without needing academic language, psychology degrees, or scientific tests.

That is why this racism test uses simple everyday scenarios, not data-heavy psychology instruments.

Our Approach

The quiz is inspired by basic ideas from social psychology, including:

  • implicit and explicit bias
  • stereotypes and group perception
  • cultural comfort zones
  • familiarity bias
  • attitudes and social conditioning

We do not claim to provide scientific measurements or diagnostic results.
Instead, we aim to:

  • encourage personal reflection
  • increase awareness of thought patterns
  • help users understand where comfort and discomfort may come from
  • start healthy curiosity about bias and attitudes

Why We Built This Test

Bias is a part of human psychology.
Everyone has learned reactions shaped by experience, culture, and environment.

We created this project because:

  • many people want a simple way to reflect on their biases
  • existing tools are often too academic or scientific
  • there was no friendly, modern, scenario-based quiz focusing on self-awareness
  • people benefit from reflection that feels private, non-judgmental, and stress-free

This website aims to sit at the intersection of:

  • education
  • self-reflection
  • awareness

—not scientific research or clinical evaluation.

How the Quiz Works

  • You answer 10 questions about real-life situations.
  • Each response has an associated score.
  • The total score places you into a general reflection category.
  • Your result is private, anonymous, and not stored.

The goal is not to label you — but to help you notice patterns you may not have seen.

Transparency & Safety

To stay aligned with Google’s YMYL and EEAT principles:

  • The quiz is not scientific
  • Results are not diagnostic
  • No personal data is required
  • No answers are saved
  • The test is for educational insight only

Our goal is to provide value while treating the topic with respect and care.

Our Mission

To create simple tools that help people:

  • understand themselves
  • reflect on social attitudes
  • grow through awareness
  • explore cultural sensitivity

We believe reflection is one of the most powerful steps toward positive change.
